More snow!!!

Wow! This has been the most incredible winter of my lifetime.

This winter Ottawa has had over 400 cm (4 meters or 13 ft) of snow. It is our 2nd snowiest winter since weather statistics have been kept in Canada.

At the top are some shots of the entrance to our house. The best thing about living in a cold climate is that when the snow falls, it doesn't melt. It just stays put until the next snowfall, and the next, and the next, until we are literally buried in snow. The snow banks are almost 2 meters high (over 6 ft)!

This is a little Vegetarian restaurant down the road from our house. Can you see the bike in the snow bank? Hahahaha.

Great snow = great snow forts!
This has multiple rooms connected with tunnels and has snow benches all around the walls for people to sit down. The Canadian flag hanging has been signed by everyone who worked on the fort.

This is one of the pathways that I am responsible for shovelling. It gets really hard to toss the snow up on top of the pile.

And finally, the Sandy Hill Community Centre where the church (All Nations Church) meets. I love all of the icicles hanging from the roof.

I LOVE WINTER!!! It's so beautiful. Of course, I'll still be happy when summer finally arrives.
Ben.

Ha ha ha... Are you SURE that is your house... or is it mine?! I've been wandering the snow maze of Ottawa for weeks trying to figure out which place belongs to me!

OY VEY! The snow is SO HIGH I can't see the kids BIG YELLOW BUS until it stops right in front of ME!

CRAZY TOWN! Ha ha ha...
Good thing we still have our Tim Hortons! YIKES!

Wow. That's A LOT of snow. I admire your steadfast enjoyment of it :)
I won't mention anything about the daffodils in our garden...
