Happy Three Years

It's our wedding anniversary today. Three years of fun! Here are some highlights of the past little while:

Ben's been presenting at some conferences this year - I've been tagging along a bit. In fact, when we went to New Orleans in February not only did I tag along, but Kate and Thom came too. Kate and Thom are gold. If you want some people that you can be yourself around, spend some time with Kate and Thom. And Olivia and Charlie - the pets are pretty sweet too.

Melissa and Janie, our respective sisters are now both pregnant! Melissa's due in November and Janie's due in December! Can you believe it! Also, two of the Sarahs in the church are pregnant - Sarah Taylor and Sarah Wilkins! Woot Woot! I looooooove it when friends are pregnant. It's one of the most exciting things ever!

We went to Cuba in early May with a team from the church. We visited a number of churches in Santiago, Guantanamo and Bayamo, following two teams from the UK who covered other areas of Cuba. We brought encouragement and testimonies - showing the Cubans we're together with them through the body of Christ. We saw healings and miracles while we were there - tumours gone, backs freed of pain, knees healed.

We've also bought a car this month and went through the process of preparing to purchase a house. In fact, with the house shopping we got to the point where we were about to put in an offer - we were on our way to the real estate agent to do it - and that's how far we got before we stopped and decided to wait a year! There is a time for everything - a season for every activity under heaven. Maybe our next season will bring us a puppy...
