Baby Cole and the O'Hallorans

Marie had her baby! Little baby Robert Gordon Cole. He was born at 2:20am on Tuesday August 5th. He's 7lbs 6oz. Word has it he's gorgeously cute. Marie says he's a good little baby.

Also, Beth and Pat are married now! Woohoo Off to Mexico! It was a lovely lovely wedding at Westben.

Camping Quotes

We went camping at Bon Echo last weekend. Here are a couple memories:

Upon arriving at the beach, Abby greeted Ryan with, "Hey Ry" and then turned to me and said, dreamily, "I call him Ry".

At the campfire Ali said, "There are a lot of Maryanns in movies. Like the Wizard of Oz, "I'm frightened Maryann, I'm frightened.'" Silly Ali. People called me Auntie Em for the rest of the weekend.

Welcoming Home Robyn

I was going to blog about Robyn... how much we're anticipating having her back in Ottawa. How lovely she is. I was going to write about how I like to call her Mogey and I don't think she likes that but she'd never say so because she's so nice. And, how we're going to try to go on adventures and make life interesting and new since she's been travelling the world. I was going to try to write it in Robyn language.

I was going to do that, but I feel like the happy birthday wish SHE sent to ME just about sums up how unique Robyn is and how we can't wait to have her around again. Here's her message:
