My God Heals

I heard the most incredible story this evening.

There is a young woman in Ottawa named Elizabeth who had a stroke some time last year. She was left paralyzed on one whole side of her body, and was admitted to a care facility. She told me that she was unable to move any part of that side of her body, and that she could not feel a thing.

She told me that in December a number of young adults from All Nations Church visited her to pray for Jesus to heal her. She said that as our friend Erin was praying and holding her hand, it began to shake. Elizabeth was amazed that her hand was moving on its own, since this was impossible. She knew that God was doing something.

The next day, Elizabeth was reading a magazine that was sitting on her lap in her wheelchair. The magazine slipped, and as it was falling to the ground she reached out and grabbed it...with the hand that had been paralyzed!! God had healed her completely!

Last weekend she stood before the church and told everyone her story. I had to write about it.

God is real, and He is bigger than any obstacle that we face. But most of all, He is full of love.
