Different Worlds

For just over a year now, Maryann has been signing emails, letters and notes around the house with "Muah!" Now, I am certain to the average girl, this would be an obvious way to write the sound of a kiss: muah!

Not being a girl myself, I was unaware, and as a boy I was likely more predisposed to think of MUAH!! as the way to write a sinister cackle: Muah Muah-ha-HA-ha-HA! Catch the drift?

After reading yet another note signed by Maryann with the "muah" in question, I became very curious. I don't think that I have ever heard her cackle, and I would very much like to hear what sinister melody plays through her head as she writes her standard muah. This weekend, I asked her.

Although the kiss is nice, I prefer to think that she still sends me cackles through emails and notes in pink highlighter.
